Hix at Selfridges - Having conquered Clerkenwell and Soho, Mark Hix has transformed the former Gallery Restaurant at Selfridges into a smart restaurant and Champagne bar. The dining room is decorated with art from Tim Webster and Tracey Emin, while the menu features British and European dishes like steak Bearnaise, fish and chips, and farmhouse chicken salad. The restaurant and seafood bar are open for breakfast from 9:30am (Mon-Sat) and the Champagne bar serves fine wine, fizz and small plates like grilled chorizo with Romesco sauce and scrumpy-fried Dublin Bay prawns
