Mark Hix opened his third London restaurant within Selfridges on March 8th 2010.

Hix Restaurant and Champagne Bar is located on the mezzanine floor overlooking Selfridges’s bustling high-end accessory hall. The restaurant boasts a beautiful pewter champagne and crustacean bar and a 90 seat dining room designed by Conran. Art work by British artists Gary Webb, Mat Collishaw and Tracey Emin also feature throughout the room.

The restaurant opening times mirror that of the store, so we kick the day off with breakfast, served from 9.30am with dishes such as crumpets with butter and marmite or De Beauvoir smoked salmon ‘Hix cure’, scrambled eggs and a Bellini. Afternoon Tea is also available every day, with a delicious selection including Champagne Tea and Devon Tea.

British and European classics such as escalope of chicken Milanese, fish fingers and chips with mushy peas and ground rib steak are served throughout the day on our a la carte menu. Hix Restaurant and Champagne Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a light lunch and a glass of champagne or a relaxing evening meal after a long day’s shopping.

The Champagne Bar offers a selection of bar snax such as Blythburgh pork crackling with Bramley apple sauce or scrumpy-fried Dublin Bay prawns with wild fennel mayonnaise and is an ideal event space.

Mark’s De Beauvoir smoked salmon ‘Hix cure’ and other HIX products are available to buy in the food hall.
